A lot of fantastic games came out in 2022. Maybe not as many as we would have liked, especially with blockbuster after blockbuster getting delayed to 2023. But push beyond the Elden Rings and God of War Ragnaröks and you’ll discover a cornucopia of overlooked, underrated gems that run the gamut from text-adventure RPGs to card-based city builders.
