I remember my first viewing of Richard Kellyās cult classic, Donnie Darko, as if it were late last night in a quiet, somewhat creepy house, silence pierced only by faint wwhistle of a rapidly descending jet engine. It wentās something like this (spoilers!).
The 8-bit movie translators over at CineFix did an amazing job with Donnie Darko, capturing the key moments without lingering too long on any one element. It feels as if Iād just watched the film proper and am now rolling about in the afterglow.
