A Canadian law firm is requesting to pursue a class action against Fortnite developer Epic for failing to disclose the game’s addictive properties. According to the CBC, the suit is based on a Canadian suit against tobacco companies and “makes note of the World Health Organization’s 2018 decision to classify video game addiction as a disease.”
