A Sneak Peek at Where Naruto Is Created

To mark the upcoming feature-length The Last: Naruto the Movie, Japanese television took at look at where Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto, well, creates Naruto

With the manga’s current run wrapped up and a mini-series in the works for next spring, Mezamashi TV sent pop star and manga fan Rina Ikoma to check out Kishimoto’s studio. It’s an interesting look at where the manga was drawn. And yes, that is a Freiza statue, which was given to the Naruto creator.

One interesting point that came up during the segment was that Kishimoto doesn’t remember all the characters’ designs, so he has a stack of Naruto manga to confirm and check. “I don’t know which volume the character is in,” he said. “It’s faster to check online.” No doubt about that!
