Action-puzzle game Rime was today re-revealed for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch after over a year of silence from developer Tequila Works. Rime, slated for May, was previously a PS4 exclusive.
Hereâs the new trailer:
Rime is an anticipated open-world indie game set on an island from which a boy is trying to escape. According to IGN, in Rime, âPlayers must navigate the islandâs secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time.â
Tequila Works, who also developed Deadlight, announced Rime at Gamescom in 2013. Threats of cancellation followed its debut. In an August interview with IBTimes, Rimeâs developers said that they were silent, in part, because âwe are only going to allow people to play the game when itâs fully ready. We have no bulls**t excuse of âOh, itâs a work in progress, donât worry, it will look better.ââ They did not elaborate on their split with Sony.
