Yesterday was the birthday of virtual idol Iori Minase. The character appears in Namcoās pop idol simulator THE iDOLM@STER. Festivities included cake and juice and plastic figurines.

Minase is a rich girl, who is spoiled by her parents. THE iDOLM@STER originally debuted as an arcade game, but there have seen been Xbox 360 and PSP versions of the title.
It should be noted that many of these birthday celebrates for virtual characters are often done with tongue planted firmly in cheek. They are not entirely serious! But rather, wryly humorous send-ups of characters (or games) that people enjoy.
