Marvelās just announced that their premiere superhero team will be hitting game consoles later this year, confirming recent rumors about such a gameās existence.

Designed for use with Xbox 360ās Kinect camera and Wii Uās gestural inputs, Avengers: Battle for Earth will be a motion control game developed by the Ubisoft Quebec studio. Marvel says that itāll take inspiration from the recent Secret Invasion storyline, and will competitive elements as well. (Skrull-hunting, anyone?) Battle for Earth will feature all the characters from the recent hit movie and other protagonists from the House of Ideasā stable will round out the roster to 20 playable heroes.
