Once again one of Batmanās most intelligent villains is reduced to a ravening juggernaut of destruction, as Bane makes a smashing appearance in Batman: Arkham Asylum.
He looks good and all, but Iām a bit tired of video game developers and Joel Schumacher using Bane as a mindless powerhouse enemy. He is a powerful guy, but the main aspect of the character that makes him such a thorn in Batmanās side is the fact that he has the brains to go with the brawn. Hopefully thereās more to Bane in the game than this. You canāt just overdose him with venom, give him a pat on the head, and point him in Batmanās direction like some attack dog.
Well I suppose you can, but be warned ā we comic fans are going to whine about it on the internet.
