According to 2K Marinās creative director Jordan Thomas, the setting is āone of the characters we donāt want to let go.ā Thomas added that he thinks Rapture is still āfertileā for as much exploration as the team sees fit.
āI absolutely believe that there might be future games set in Rapture in whatever time period,ā Thomas said, ābut I would also say that I think that the Bioshock brand is big enough that it could evolve.ā Evolve into more sequels, that is.
