Thereâs a new Bomberman clone on the Wii Uâs eShop called Bombing Bastards. Iâm still giggling that Nintendo, of all companies, is cool with a game being sold on its store with a name like that.
Thereâs the eShop listing, just as proof. Note that last year, Stealth Bastard had to change its name to get on Sonyâs PSN. Nintendo, as the operator of an online store for video games, has no such problem with the word bastard. If youâre an indie developer out there toiling away on âShitheadâs Fucktownâ, though, that might be a stretch.
The game doesnât actually look too bad, either! Itâs Bomberman, only with a super-corny narrator and a hip-hop nutcracker soundtrack.
