Cushy, comfortable headphones that deliver excellent noise cancellation

CustomTune and Spatial audio are responsible for a lot of what makes the QuietComfort Ultras capable of producing more encompassing, customized audio than traditional stereo playback. Bose Immersive Audio was created to project the things you hear ahead of you for a greater sense of presence, and CustomTune tailors the audio to your ears. Quiet Mode is designed for maximum noise cancellation, Aware Mode lets you hear ambient sounds, and Immersion Mode provides maximum noise cancellation and lets you use Bose Immersive Audio simultaneously. All of these options allow you to control how isolated or connected you feel to the world around you, depending on the situation.

The soft ear cushions and pressure-distributing headband let you wear the headphones for longer without putting too much pressure on your head. Bose also designed the mics to focus on your voice and eliminate background noise for clear calls, even when there is a lot of activity around you. The touch controls on the sides of each ear cup let you adjust the volume, skip tracks, answer calls, and select listening modes.

Bluetooth 5.3 provides a wireless range of up to 30 feet for the headphones and supports SimpleSync for pairing with compatible Bose smart soundbars. The Bose app keeps the headphones’ software up to date and provides access to Adjustable EQ settings, which give you more flexibility to customize the audio to your tastes. There is also a wired option via the cable provided in the box, allowing you to connect to devices that don’t have Bluetooth.

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones provide up to 24 hours of battery life, which is perfect for extended listening, and a 15-minute charge provides 2.5 hours of playtime. Inside the packaging, you receive the headphones, a protective case, a 3.5mm cable, and a 20-inch USB-C-to-A charging cable. For $279, down from its typical price of $429, these headphones provide advanced noise cancellation, spatial audio, and increased comfort for a total savings of $150.
