Having developed four Halo titles to date, Halo Reach will be Bungieâs last game in the series for the foreseeable future. But is it their last game ever in the series? Never say never.
âYou know, it might be premature to say weâll never ever, ever make a Halo game againâ Bungieâs Brian Jarrard told CVG. âWe sort of have a little special place for Halo in our hearts. But for the foreseeable future, this [Halo Reach] is it.â
Poor Bungie, they could probably do with a break. I donât care if itâs a game about unicorns shitting wish-granting rainbows at a race of amazonian super-women, if itâs all you work on for over a decade, youâll get sick of it.
So itâll be interesting to see what 343 Industries can do with the series once Bungie move on, yeah, but even more interesting to see what happens when Bungie ultimately returns to the franchise.
