Catan Seems Likely for North American PS3 Release

The ESRB shows a new listing for a PS3 adaptation of Settlers of Catan, the popular resource-allocation strategy board game. A version of this game by the same developer was released in Japan back in 2008.

Game Republic developed the Japanese version of Catan; itā€™s listed as the studio for the new version rated by the ESRB. It gets an E. The ratings certificate offers not details other than a standard description of the board game.

Big Huge Games produced a version of Catan for Xbox Live Arcade in 2007.
