How come the one Mario villain that comes with his own sports equipment never makes it into the Mario sports titles?
According to the latest Dorkly video game short, it’s because Chargin’ Chuck is a giant asshole.
Chargin’ Chucks were sports-themed enemies that made their debut in Super Mario World, where they plagued our hero with tossed footballs, baseballs, and rocks. I guess he eventually ran out of sporting equipment and had to make due. We often forget he ever existed, because he was kind of stupid in the first place.
