Chile’s Football Team Did A Nintendo Switch Goal Celebration

Chile’s national football team, reigning South American champions, played Cameroon in the Confederations Cup yesterday, and after scoring what they thought was their first goal (it was later called back for offside) celebrated with a homage to their current Mario Kart obsession.

Via Nintenderos and Goal.com, here we can see that some members of the team have been sharing their hotel Switch gaming on social media:

And here, before being told by a video referee that Eduardo Vargas’ goal would not stand, are the team sitting down and pretending to play the Switch in celebration:
