Canāt chat much; gotta hit the trail for California today. Itāll be nice to see some old friends back in the Bay Area, but it will be a working visit.
One thing Iām contemplating, booze is stupid expensive in Oregon. Now, thereās no sales tax on anything, so in the end itās probably all a wash. But Iād be a liar if I wasnāt considering stopping right at the border on my way back to load up the trunk. Iām wondering if that sort of thing is illegal. Iām sort of hoping it is, so I can pretend like Iām a moonshiner taking the weekly load over to Bristol back in the old days where Iām from.
