In October 2014, Kevin Kanai Griffith, a Blizzard artist who had worked on both World of Warcraft and Diablo, passed away. This month, the company honours him with a big update for Diablo III.
Patch 2.3.0 introduces something called Kanaiās Cube, a predecessor of the gameās āiconicā Horadric Cube. Blizzard says itās āa huge new feature that will fundamentally change the way you look at an item when it dropsā.
āNot only does it add another layer of character power at your fingertipsā, they add, ābut also introduces a structured collection element to the huge item game at the core of Diablo III.ā
