Disney will be transforming its California Adventure theme park, located right next to Disneyland, into a Tron-themed festival of lights with ElecTRONica, the digital dance party scheduled to launch this October.
It’s not a ride, it’s an “‘electrifying’ experience for the entire family” and “the greatest nighttime dance party to ever rock Disney California Adventure,” according to Disney’s official theme park blog. It’s a stage show, as previously foretold. Based on the newly released concept art for the Tron-themed shindig, ElecTRONica will borrow visually more from the upcoming Tron: Legacy than the original Tron.

Disney’s detailed recreation of Flynn’s Arcade, which has been installed at Comic-Cons past and recent, will set up shop at ElecTRONica for some “radical gaming.” Disney’s also hauling playable demos of Tron Evolution, the console video game, to the event.
