I had no idea Eā€™lara and Caddoc, the two mercenary stars of inXileā€™s Hunted: The Demon Forge, could be so witty. What an eye-opener.

Iā€™ve not had any hands-on time with Hunted: The Demonā€™s Forge, so my main exposure to the game has been through reading Totilo and McWhertorā€™s impressions of the game. From those writings I took away a strong sense of cooperation, much more than a game like Gears of War that Hunted draws so many comparisons to.

But cooperative or not, a dungeon crawler is just another adventure without personality, and this new trailer for the game lets that personality shine through. The momentā€™s over in the blink of an eye, but it did its job. Looks like Iā€™ll be picking up a copy of Hunted on release day.

Hunted: The Demonā€™s Forge is due out June 1 for the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3.
