When they were released in Germany, Doom and Doom 2 were immediately âindexedâ into a government regulated category that includes porn. A successful appeal of that decision has them now rated for older teenagers to buy, Joystiq reports.
Bethesdaâs Pete Hines told Joystiq that when the publisherâs parent company acquired id Software in 2009, they decided to give an appeal a shot and see what happened. Hines doesnât know when the two titles will be made available for sale.
