EA Sports boss Peter Moore says heās keeping a close eye on 3D gaming, but while itās a new priority for Sony itās not yet one for his division.
āSony has made it a strategic imperative for the company. And when Sony does something of that nature then we as a company need to sit up and take notice,ā he told GamesIndustry.biz at a FIFA event yesterday in London. āBut believe me thereās nothing going on right now that would say Iām ready to demo a 3D sports game. Nothing at all.ā
Motion-control gaming is the new technology getting EA Sportsā attention for the time being, he said. Moore added that āweāre going to have our core intellectual property represented in some shape of fashion on those platforms.ā But he would not say if EA Sports will have titles ready for either at their launch.
