El Shaddai’s Lucifel Is Headed For A Fall

The second part of Ignition’s epic trailer for El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron gets up close and personal with Lucifel, a suave archangel destined to become the foremost fallen. Oh, and porklings.

Lucifel is of course Lucifer, God’s favorite angel who eventually falls from grace and becomes the ruler of hell. The eternal damnation thing comes later though. Right now he’s just a cool guy with the ability to move backwards and forwards in time. He’ll be guiding human hero Enoch on his quest to capture the seven fallen angels and prevent the great flood that nearly wiped out humanity.

Last time around he didn’t get the job done, but this is video game land, where anything is possible.

I have no idea what a porkling is, but it’s my new favorite word. Is there a snack called Porklings? If not, someone needs to get on that immediately, before my long-dormant motivation kicks in.

Look for more installments of the trailer series as El Shaddai for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 inches closer to its 2011 release.
