First 4 Figures Next Sonic Statue Is Pure Metal

Whoever takes the product shots at premium action figure company First 4 Figures is making it incredibly difficult to not plunk down $175 for the company’s next big Sonic the Hedgehog statue, Metal Sonic.

Metal Sonic will never look this good on your fireplace mantle or your $30 WalMart bookcase. First of all, the image above isn’t First 4 Figures’ standard Metal Sonic statue, which is limited to 1,500 pieces. Chances are pretty good you’ll wind up with that version, which while still an impressive 15.4 inch tall representation of your love for the Sonic the Hedgehog series, does not glow.

For the glow you’ll be wanting the Metal Sonic Exclusive statue. It’s the same as the standard version, only it’s been seeded with LEDs, giving it that remarkable shine. It’s also limited to 350 pieces, so your chances of securing one are quite slim.
