Last week, the official existence of Crimson Alliance, a game from developer Certain Affinity, was outed by Australiaâs ratings board. We didnât know much about the game then, but we do nowâitâs definitely not a sequel to Crimson Skies

âIt takes everything weâve learned about high action from working on shooters like Halo and Call of Duty, and everything we love about the fantasy genre, and wraps it in furious action,â writes the developer on its Facebook page. âCustomize and power up your characterâs unique attacks and abilities and battle your way through an epic campaign driven story. Up to 4 players can party together cooperatively over Xbox Live or on the couch.â
The official Crimson Alliance web site shows hints of fantasy warriors and evil looking ghouls, interspersed with an ominous âShe is comingâŠâ tagline. The Xbox Live game is slated for a release this summer, but we expect to hear more by next weekâs E3 2011 showing.
