Taiko no Tatsujin is one of Japan’s most iconic arcade games. Recently in Nagoya, two kids appear to have stuffed one of the drums into a plastic bag and walked out of the arcade.
May 7 – 6:00am: According to Livedoor, three high school students have admitted to stealing the drum kit, reportedly telling authorities that they did it because they “liked Taiko no Tatsujin.” It has since been returned to the arcade, and police plan to file charges.
Below is a screen cap of security camera footage of the alleged incident.
