Craigslist ainât simply your one-stop source for $27 flea-infested futons, or where you celebrate a third DUI by buying a moped. No, you can find some truly bizarre shit, like this rolling deathtrap in which you may play an Xbox 360 with your knees tucked to your chest.
Why on Godâs green earth someone would build this, much less use it as described, is beyond me, but a craftsman in the vibrant artisan community of Youngstown, Ohio is offering it for 2.5 kilobucks. Listed on April 29, itâs still up for sale on that localityâs Craigslist.
Amenities include an âHD LCD TV on adjustable Omnimount,â âblack fleece inner wall liningâ a â100 watt powered subwooferâ and âsolid construction.â It supposedly seats two.
There also is a ârubber lined spill-proof floorâ in case you tip over a beer or put someoneâs body in there, plus a latch for a padlock if you want to trick a friend into playing some Call of Duty while you forklift his ass into Evans Lake.
Serious inquiries only.
UPDATE: The seller contacted me via Twitter and noted that the âX-Boxâ has an air conditioning unit. While $2,500 is the asking price, âbest offer gets it,â though, you know, it canât be stupidly lowballed or anything. Also, reader AndroidManX said he contacted the guy and was provided the following video. It does provide some perspective on the space inside, and its speakers, which sounds like they could kill you to death, too.
