Wyck Godfrey, producer of the Gears of War movie adaptation, has thoughts about the transition of the Xbox 360 gameās transition to the big screen. These are those thoughts.
āThe hard part is to make [Gears of War] into something that doesnāt feel like a world torn asunder and people just in battle,ā Godfrey tells Making Of. āI think we really want to focus on the idea of a world thatās running well and then itās Emergence Day.ā
Godfrey says he pictures the filmāto be directed by Underworld director and Kate Beckinsale husband Len Wisemanātelling a story of the survival of āthose 48 hoursā following Emergence Day, likening the experience to 2008ās big monster movie Cloverfield.
