This guy makes 55 consecutive stoplights in Manhattan without coming to a full stop. Itās like a real-life version of Flappy Bird.
Granted, the filmmaker, Tim Burke (not Deadspinās Tim Burke) did so around 3 a.m., when thereās nothing but a few nighthawk cabs on the road, and you can sort of set your own pace (and move into the bus-only lane if someoneās going slow in the middle,)
Iām not sure where his route takes him. Reader xxxgreygh0stxxx says itās Fifth Avenue going south which explains the lack of right turns, as it borders Central Park. At 2:16 the car passes the Guggenheim on the left, and at 2:49 it passes MoMA on the right. āAnytime of the day that stretch of road from 110th street to 59th street [the length of Central Park] is the most congested road in the city.ā
There is another monument at 4:25 that New Yorkers might recognize. What is it?
