The fifth and final vignette for 3D Dot Game Heroes is even more embarrassing when you realize this is what we accepted as advertising in the late 80’s.
Today’s marketing and advertising teams have their fingers on the pulse of today’s youth. Yesterday’s marketing and advertising teams thought they did, but they were actually strangling us slowly with painful rap commercials meant to appeal to the hip hop loving youth inside all of us.
So yes, this is embarrassing, but I do love the line, “Your parents help you hook it up.” Every commercial should end with this line.
