My Sim’s wife divorced him, leaving him depressed. He immediately went to cuddle their newborn son, and looked like he was holding tightly to the last piece of his happiness.
I love seeing how invested people become in the lives and emotional states of these virtual pets. It’s a very empowering expression of what video games can be when they’re at their best.
