âGoS-CPT-Stewartâ is a student at game design school Full Sail. As part of his studies, he had to make a Pong clone. So he took Pong and mixed it with, of all things, Ikaruga.
The results are as youâd expect. Itâs Pong, except there are Ikaruga ships in the middle of the screen to blow up, and the ball changes colour between black and white, forcing you to â like Ikaruga â change the colour of your paddle to survive.
Thereâs even an authentic Ikaruga soundtrack and menu screen in there to keep things faithful. You can download and play the game from the link below if youâre interested. Though why you wouldnât be interested is a mystery to us.
