The way Kinect works is that it sends out all these little beams of light. Thatâs how it can read movements and know when you flail about your living room. Those tracking dots are also perfect for creepy horror moviesâand Microsoft product placement.
The latest trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 shows off the Kinect. One of the characters (Katie, I think) says, âOh my god, what is he doing? Itâs three in the morning.â
Then the little boy (Robbie) says, âIâm playing Child of Eden, leave me alone.â
Okay, I made that last part up.
Paranormal Activity 4 hits theaters on October 19.
