Space Engine is a free download that lets you fly around the universe, without any aliens or trade federations getting in the way. It was a pretty thing the last timewe looked at it, in 2011, but this new video is just gorgeous
I said it then and I’ll say it now: as attractive as it is, and as relaxing as the experience is just flying around, it would be great if someone could take this tech and use it in a game that had a little more stuff to do. Even if it was just an intergalactic version of Pokemon Snap.
