Japanese Ice Cream Face Art

You know how sometimes you take the lid off a container of ice cream, and you can see a face? This is kind of like that.

As noted on Spoon & Tamago, Makoto Asanotakes this further by carving funny characters in the ice cream using those disposable ice cream spoons. The resulting sculptures are deliciously cute.

Asano says his hobby is “making ice cream laugh.” Ice cream isn’t the only one laughing here. I am, too. Ha ha!
