Jon Hopkins: Circle

One day, I’m going to make a science-fiction movie.

It won’t be about action, or killing. It’ll just be about some guys cruising the galaxy, exploring all the cool shit that’s out there to see. And when they see it, they lean back in their space chairs and just…soak it all up.

When I make this movie, Jon Hopkins will be doing the soundtrack.

It won’t be his first! The British musician actually worked on 2010’s indie monster flick…Monsters. Which was awesome.

Hopkins has collaborated with other electronic artists like Brian Eno, as well as releasing several of his own studio albums. This track, Circle, is from his 2004 effort Contact Note

Soundtrack isn’t news. It isn’t video games. It’s just Kotaku editors sharing music they dig. Enjoy!
