Sony has done a great job with its exclusive PlayStation Network titles of promoting the kind of games you wouldnât expect to see promoted on a modern video game console. Games like Flower, and Journey
Sadly, at least for Sony â and this will be heartening to anyone who doesnât own a PS3 â the developer of both those games, thatgamecompany, may be about to broaden its developmental horizons a little.
Speaking with Push Square, thatgamecompany boss Jenova Chen says âThatgamecompany had a three game contract with Sony, so the past three games had to be Sony exclusive.â
âRight now we are very much exploring ways to bring our games to a bigger audience, beyond just PlayStation. We are still in the process of negotiating, but I hope that we can announce it [soon]. But right now itâs still in the process.â
Note this in all likelihood wouldnât mean youâd see games like Flow and Journey appear on the PC and Xbox 360. Itâd more likely mean their future projects could be multiplatform. Just like their past ones were; if youâve never played Cloud on the PC, you probably should
