The technology behind much of Microsoft’s Kinect – PrimeSense – isn’t exclusive to the Xbox 360. It’ll soon be appearing in other gadgets, from TV sets to computers.

These new platforms will have similar capabilities as Kinect in terms of motion control, but some of the 360 controller’s fancier bits – like voice recognition and the ability to automatically adjust the camera to track a user – are Microsoft tech, so they won’t be along for the ride.
