The good and the bad: The Bad: I think at least from the way the trailer looks, that I’m gonna need a Nasa supercomputer to run it, that for me would be the worst. I also have a feeling it’s gonna take up a boat load of space in my computer.

The Good: IT LOOKS SO FREAKING COOL. IT LOOKS SO FREAKING COOL. IT LOOKS SO FREAKING COOL. Do I need to say it again? IT LOOKS SO FREAKING COOL. People here are worried about the social media aspect that they might be adding in, but isn’t the entire point of gta to be sort of a realistic SATIRICAL game. –Mackenzie Neal

It looks okay? Great even for an open-world, but even by the trailer, it doesn’t win any “best visuals ever” awards in my book, there are multiple games that are years old that seem to match it, yet people are talking about needing a “RTX 5090″ to play it and calling it “Crysis 2“? I’m just wondering if we all watched the same thing. Not to mention that it’ll be running on consoles that are already 3 years old and definitely don’t have “RTX 5090” kind of power. –BigDaddy

For me, more than the visuals, it was the animation fidelity. The characters felt so much more real than other games I expect from the “genre” (using the term loosely). And given the dialogue in GTA games tend to have a very specific character, I can imagine them coming to life a lot more than we’re used to. –fishghost

It just doesn’t feel good to me… The hyper realism mixed with some sort of filter doesn’t give me a cohesive feel. –Robert Drebin

I don’t know… I mean, the world looks pretty, kind of? The characters’ animation style still looks like how bad actors would move if told how to behave a certain way with their bodies. I really hope they introduce something revolutionary. That’s the issue with sequels of games that revolutionized the industry; we all get on the hype train because we unconsciously expect that same sense of awe we had when we discovered the original game(s), but production is so expensive nowadays, that companies feel safer with re-hashing what they did before with a fresh coat of GPU Technology-based paint. I’ve found myself playing more and more indie games for that reason. –Rytoast
