Stop The Leaks, Stop The Crunch

Screw anyone releasing a trailer for a game that’s over a year away. It’s just my opinion but a trailer should be like 6ish months before the release date, then you can release like a couple gameplay videos for major features in the following months, then a final trailer like 4-6 weeks beforehand. Go ahead and say it’s in development whenever, I don’t care about that. But keep the hype train in the station longer because when it runs out of steam over the next 13-16 months it’s just going to frustrate people. –Badprenup
I’m going to be incredibly sad—but unsurprised—when the inevitable crunch article arrives and we read about people missing their children’s funerals because they’re pulling 110 hours a week programming on an Instagram filter for an in-game phone, or animating a real-time fully detailed molting cycle for the alligators. The in-game Instagram knock-off will also be called “Dick Penis Gram” or some dumb shit. –Arden
