Kotaku Off Topic: Thundercats Are Ho!

Along with today’s announcement that Warner Bros. is bringing back Thundercats, we’d like to announce that we’re bringing back Kotaku Off Topic, the open thread post that you fondly remember from Tuesday. Ho!!!

I watched quite a bit of Thundercats in my day, along with He-Man, Silverhawks, C.O.P.S. and Robotech, but it didn’t have a huge impact on me. I remember liking it as a thing that lit up my TV, but quickly forgot everything but Mumm-ra, a fantastically designed villain. Oh, I guess I remember Cheetarah, probably the basis for a few thousand furries discovering their particular fetish.

Maybe it was Snarf that made me want to forget… Anyway! Let’s talk about things Thundercats related and beyond.

Thundercats are coming back – Warner Bros. and Studio4°C relaunching show in 2011. It “will spring off the screen with realistic cat-like characteristics inconceivable in previous incarnations.”
