Along with todayâs announcement that Warner Bros. is bringing back Thundercats, weâd like to announce that weâre bringing back Kotaku Off Topic, the open thread post that you fondly remember from Tuesday. Ho!!!
I watched quite a bit of Thundercats in my day, along with He-Man, Silverhawks, C.O.P.S. and Robotech, but it didnât have a huge impact on me. I remember liking it as a thing that lit up my TV, but quickly forgot everything but Mumm-ra, a fantastically designed villain. Oh, I guess I remember Cheetarah, probably the basis for a few thousand furries discovering their particular fetish.
Maybe it was Snarf that made me want to forget⊠Anyway! Letâs talk about things Thundercats related and beyond.
First look at AMCâs The Walking Dead series â Looks like they got the zombie part rightâŠ
Thundercats are coming back â Warner Bros. and Studio4°C relaunching show in 2011. It âwill spring off the screen with realistic cat-like characteristics inconceivable in previous incarnations.â
Patrick Stewart knighted at royal palace â Make it sir!
4chan creator âm00tâ speaks at TED â OK talk, but the discussion in the comments is better.
Watch Detroitâs Armando Galarraga have a perfect game snatched from him â Over and over and over again. Galarragaâs reaction is priceless.
