To be honest, I kind of like it.
As noted on Figsoku and Famitsu, this is the âVariantâ line of Square Enixâs collectible Play Arts figurines. âVariantâ means the design has been slightly changed or modified, as in these Star Wars figures.
The tweaks to these characters, along with the battle-worn appearance, work wellâa lot better than that Square Enix Batman figurethat was revealed last year.
The Darth Vader figurine, which you mightâve seen previously, is out in May, but the newly revealed Stormtrooper and Boba Fett wonât be out until July. Each is priced at 12,960 yen or US$109.
