While Nintendoās 3DS isnāt due for its massive price cut until August 12 (this Friday), it appears one retailer has jumped the gun and is already selling the handheld at the new, greatly reduced price.

Walmart outlets in some parts of the US appear to be selling the 3DS for $170 right now, users of the Cheap Ass Gamer forums are sharing their stories of swinging by stores and grabbing a 3DS for the new price.
If you were holding off on a 3DS until after the drop and canāt wait until Friday (or secretly fear a sell-out during this āsecond launchā), well, a visit your local Walmart sounds like it may be in order.
