Donât work under the assumption that, because they were announced in early 2009, Capcomâs latest tentpole sequels â Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 â will actually be released in 2009.
Speaking with Microsoftâs Larry Hryb on his weekly radio show, Capcom PR man Chris Kramer said that both titles were big, but also that both titles were for ânext yearâ. Gasp!
What he means, though, is next fiscal year. Which runs April 09 to March â10. Somewhat less alarming, then, as most of those months fall within calendar â09, but donât forget, both Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV turned up at the end of a fiscal year and not a calendar one.
Just keep that in the back of your mind, OK?
