Majin & The Forsaken Kingdom Journeys West This Summer

Namco Bandai announced today that it will release Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom in North America this summer, allaying fears that you’d never see the game formerly known as Majin: The Fallen Realm on these shores. Whew!

Announced last summer at Germany’s Gamescom expo, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom puts players in the shoes of a “cunning young outsider” who buddies up with the AI-controlled eponymous Majin to fend off “dark forces.”

Given the cooperative beast and buddy action, we won’t chide you for making references to The Last Guardian. Developer Game Republic and Namco Bandai plan to bring Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom to the west this summer for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
