Nintendo’s newest Mario adventure floats comfortably atop Japan’s bestsellers list, with Super Mario Galaxy 2 selling another 100,000-plus copies to Wii owners, according to latest figures.
For the second week in a row, Mario had little competition for the first place spot. This week, Konami’s Fairy Tail: Portable Guild for the PSP came closest. When the new debuts consist of Evangelion pachinko/pachislot games and the horror restaurant interactive fiction game Kaidan Restaurant: Ura Menu 100-Sen, it’s doubtful Mario was worried about his first place chances this week.
