But MK co-creator Ed Boon talks in depth about bringing the revitalized fighting game to the Vita over on the official PlayStation Blog. All of the content from the console version will be available on the Vita handheld. Among the features that Boon reveals are touchscreen controls that let you unleash the devastating X-Ray super moves and the seriesā signature fatalities. Boon says:
āFor fatalities, you can āslashā the screen with the appropriate inputs ā say, away, away, up ā to execute the fatality. It makes some of the more difficult fatalities easier and itās fun to slash at your screen to fire off a fatality.ā
The veteran designer also says that two new Test Your Might-style mini-games will be on MK for Vita, as well as changes to the Challenger Tower mode that might make use of the deviceās gyroscope and accelerometer. There wonāt be any kind of PS3-to-Vita cross-functionality, though, as with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
