Mother 3 Is Ten Years Old Today and Still Japan-Only

Today, on April 20, 2006, Mother 3 was released on the Game Boy Advance in Japan. Ten years! Can you believe it? That’s good reason to celebrate.

Oh, it still doesn’t have an official English release. Can you believe that?

Fans in Japan and around the world have been uploading art and photos to the Twitter hashtag #mother3_10th to celebrate the game’s anniversary and also pester Nintendo of America for the long overdue official release. As reported earlier this year, the Mother 3 release rumors have been getting intense.

Lots of memories! I remember playing the game on my Game Boy Micro and bringing it with me to E3 2006 so many, many years ago. Ten years ago, in fact.
