EA Sports’ decision to indefinitely delay NBA Elite 11 doesn’t affect plans for the mobile version of the game. It will arrive later this month for iPhone and iPod Touch, and will take advantage of the iPhone 4’s high-quality display.

ESPN’s well regarded booth trio of Mike Breen, Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy, who were due to appear in the console NBA Elite 11, instead make their debut in this game.
A price and specific release date were not mentioned in EA’s statement. (Last year’s NBA Live is currently $6.99 on the App Store.) No mention was made of an iPad version.
