GameStop today listed the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of NBA Jam for $49.99 with a street date of Nov. 16. The game will feature all of the content available in the just-released Wii version, plus online multiplayer.
NBA Jam on the Xbox 360 and PS3 was originally to have been a free downloadable game packaged with NBA Elite 11, the professional basketball sim that EA Sports indefinitely delayed on Sept. 27, a week before the game was due to release. The downloadable version would have lacked the Wii versionâs âRemix Tourâ mode at launch, though there was an indication EA Sports planned to make it available later as additional downloadable content.

Once NBA Elite 11 was delayed, EA Sports president Peter Moore said it would be uncoupled from NBA Jam, and that Jam would then hit store shelves by the holiday shopping season. The $49.99 price, the same as NBA Jamâs Wii version, is not unexpected, though some had anticipated it could have been a full $59.99 title as EA Sports moved to recoup its losses from a holiday season without Elite.
