New LucasArts Game Revealed This Week

Amidst a slew of remakes and re-releases, LucasArts is preparing to announce a brand-new original title on this week’s GameTrailers TV.

GameTrailers TV host Geoff Keighley once again flexes his Twitter muscles, announcing that a new game from LucasArts will be making its debut on this week’s episode of the show. From Keighley’s Twitter:

And then the LucasArts Twitter echoed Keighley’s announcement.

So does original mean not Star Wars? I only ask because I’d really like a new X-Wing game, and LucasArts did sort of tease an impending announcement regarding the series.

I guess we’ll just have to wait until GameTrailers TV airs on Thursday at 12:30AM, which is technically Friday, but who’s counting?
